I was just $1.00 for shoes and $1.00 a game so just $2.00 plus there was awesome music and you can drink but you dont have to be 21 to get in so Tom Tom could hang out as well. I think that it will be something that we do as a weekly thing. Although I did not win the game I still think that I am better then all of them I was just singing to the music to much, I'll kick there asses next time

The crazy things we do for love

I was reading a book just now about a guy who was in love with this girl and how he once dressed up like a mail man took her mail out of the mail book and knocked on her door to deliver it to her. I think that is pretty crazy but we all go through that faze I know I did. My story is that When I lived in michigan I really liked this guy (he was not a stranger, a friend of the family) well I knew that he sold drugs as well (nothing crazy just pot) so one day me and a friend called him up to buy a bag of pot from him and asked him to bring it to our house, and 25mins. later he show up with the pot so i gave him the money and said she you at church wed. (yeah thats right we went to church together) well the crazy thing was I dont even smoke pot I just wanted to see him. I know that it is crazy but dont judge me because everyone has done something like that before.
Whats your story?

Ten Ways Blogs Boost a Law Firm's Image
When done right, blogs are an informative, vibrant calling card that represents you to the world. When done wrong, blogs are a chore and unwelcome expense, and produce little return on your effort. The difference between the two depends on having a realistic understanding of what you face before you start a blog. found on law.comBy Edward Poll
Here are 10 tips to help make the experience worthwhile:
1. Hit the Target.
The first step is to define, and then target, your ideal audience. Effective blogs speak to specific niche markets. For example, if your target clients are low-income, blue collar consumers, question whether they are likely to be Web-savvy and facile with search tools. (The answer may still be "yes.") If not, a blog might not be a wise investment of your time. As Harvey Mackay said, "If you want to catch bass, you've got to fish where they are."
2. Demonstrate your expertise.
Use your blog to "show and tell" your knowledge, authority and experience. Be specific in your posts, and follow up -- respond to inquiries (and incorporate your posted material into articles, speeches and client updates). This will help your audience learn, over time, how you can assist them, and why they need you and your services and products.
3. Write clearly and concisely.
You aren't writing a legal brief -- rather, think of it as a one-on-one conversation with a client or prospect when you can't meet face-to-face. The best blogs are informal, conversational and demonstrate your expertise and experience. Save the Latin for the judge.
4. Make the commitment.
Blogs get stale fast. They are most effective when they have a steady flow of posts. That's easier said than done -- it takes real dedication, and time. Develop a routine for blogging. Think of working on blog content as the equivalent to working in the garden -- not so much a chore as relaxing time away from the daily grind.
5. Image counts.
You don't go to court in a T-shirt, likewise, pay attention to the look and feel of your blog. All of our activities shape impressions: the way we speak to people, the way we dress, even the way we eat. Some actions may invite interaction, others subtlely repel. Consider carefully the design of your blog, its presentation, color palette, (and of course, first and foremost, its content) to be sure that it reflects you at your best -- your expertise, personality and values.
6. Everything has a cost.
It takes time to maintain a blog. Creating posts and answering e-mail comments can quickly add up. If you devote two hours per week, times 50 work weeks per year, and your billing rate is $200 per hour -- that's $20,000 a year of billable time.
Certainly worth it, if the investment produces a strong return, but time is money, so watch out for the temptation to get addicted beyond the value of your ROI!
7. Do your homework.
One way to keep time and costs down is to learn and use Web tools that help you produce and distribute your blog. For example, you can write several posts at one sitting, but schedule each to appear on a specific day and time using TypePad's "Publish On" feature. Incorporating RSS (really simple syndication) and other tools can help you reach your audience by allowing your readers to "subscribe" to your blog and receive e-mail alerts.
8. Delegate.
Worried that you'll spend too much time blogging? Consider hiring someone to manage the technical aspects of your blog, such as uploading posts and graphics, tracking replies to posts, working on search engine optimization. The expense may be far less than the time spent updating and managing -- no matter how easy with TypePad or other tools -- that take you away from other marketing activities or even from your practice.
9. Remember your professional responsibility.
Delegating the maintenance of a blog doesn't mean abdicating the responsibility. The rules governing professional conduct and advertising vary greatly from state to state. Web sties that openly provide advice and/or solicit clients may be subject to disciplinary regulation, and many states are extending jurisdiction to lawyers who have no presence in their state other than on the Internet.
10. Keep your perspective.
Don't confuse blogs with the second coming of the printing press. Ultimately, they are just another communication vehicle. Most technology innovations over the past decade are just another turn of the wheel in the law's evolution from private club to business.

John Kerrys botched joke

Many of you may heard of John Kerry's recent speech to student and the joke gone wrong. "If you don't make an effort to Be smart you get stuck in Iraq" Unfortunately he most likely was not tiring to make such a half-witted joke but come on its john Kerry.
Here is a response from some troops in Iraq to his joke.

God Help Us its the new Bebe Kids

Outkast’s Andre 3000 (Andre Benjamin) unveiled his new animated series “Class Of 3000” at a recent Cartoon Network press event, set to debut in November.
Andre explained that the cartoon revolves around a group of gifted music students who look up to former graduate-turned superstar Sunny Bridges, voiced by Dre. One of the characters, Lil D, is loosely based on Dre’s childhood. I am going to watch the first show but after that I will never think about it again.

So I sit and watch her for weeks and weeks. Would I speak! Would she speak! As I keep watching it seems to be even more to her that the naked eye can’t see. So I become curious of her thoughts and emotions, even more what beings storms to her ocean.
And suddenly she speaks and her conversation embraces my tears, her thoughts calm my fears and her ideas of life chases away demons that have haunted me for years. And suddenly she begins to walk in my dreams and fall asleep in my thoughts. How is she getting to me is the answer I’ve sought.
But the angels tell me to celebrate her entrance into my life, so I constantly think about this new found woman late at night. Our conversations are stimulating and when we talk it feel as if our souls are mating. So we talk and I search her eyes for all the truth and if she tells I promise it will stay between me and you. The beauty that she possesses is one never to be known this is the type of woman I would love to bring home.

what the h*** is Emo
The Way

I feel so blessed to have met kelan and for him to open this side of his life to me "The way" I enjoy ever thing about this youth group. although it is alot different from the "southern baptist" church I am use to, we are all there for the same thing, to become closer to the lord. Tonight topic was kinda about having your silences and solitude with the lord, not just always having to do things like youth group or trips across the world to feel beneficial, but just to give the lord some of your quite time. at the same time to also not carry your burdens alone and to know that your fellow Christians are there to help you with them and to make them there burdens as well. You hear people say all you need is god, if anything is wrong all you need is god but the only one who does not say that is god. The first thing that the lord says to Adam is "man should not be alone" therefore he gave him Eve. So in a nutshell thats what was being talked about tonight us as brothers and sisters in Christ should not have to be/feel alone that we all have each other to help us along the way.
pressure
pressure to give all that I can give and not to forget nor neglect me
pressure to love anyone that wants to be loved but always remember to love me
pressure to believe in mankind thru our destruction and poverty
Being alone isn't what life intends for any of us. That doesn't necessarily mean 'a partner' is the only counter part to make us complete. It can be family and friends... even strangers that we take the initive to help, or be kind to. Grasping the truth of creating our own happiness is a life long lesson... happiness cannot be created through another, only ourselves. Loving ourself, appreciating those that care for us and extending kindness to those that need it although they may not ask for it. Learning as much as we can to make better choices, be better people, helping our world... visiting people that never have visitors, (consider visiting home bound people) All of this sounds easy enough to do but it doesn't eliminate how we feel or what you said about being incomplete. Learning to draw our self worth from inside - from our soul... knowing *it's perfect* while we are still learning. When we put others in front of our needs then the world will be a better place for all of us. And you my daughter will get out of the trap of feeling that only another person can make you happy once you begin giving to those that need. Create positive thoughts in your mind of what is to come, don't title it with a specific person in mind, just begin the process, believe, take steps of kindness and all of what you are looking for will follow. It's not necessarily going to be in our timeline, but it will happen. Love all, even those that don't love us... that is the greatest love of all. Most importantly love and care for yourself, be your best friend... and look for opportunities to make the world you live in better for others. You will be loved in a far greater way then you ever knew before.
